together by their mission to create a community for the lost and lonely through all thing’s
music.
Lead singer Josh sings about real and often darker realities of life. Guitarist and hard rock
enthusiast Howard brings the rocking riffs and sizzling solos, while Bassist Callum and
Drummer James provides the pulse of the bands sound.

The band so far have embraced the DIY aproach, filming fun creative music videos and social media content all with zero budget.

In the past few years the band have released a series of singles and picked up fans through their energetic live show and their honest and documenary style social media posts about life in a band.
Spitfire Tides have become a staple of the southwests’ most iconic grass roots venues and
festivals (Lakefest, Bristol Harbour Fest).

2024 has seen the band write and learn recording techinques to pre produce around 10 songs ready for recording later this summer.

Live

Spitfire Tides' blend of fun, sing along indie, rock anthems have led them to become a staple on the local grassroots music scene.

Infact their first ever live show saw them signed to their management company, having gotten the whole room singing and jumping along to their songs, on a bill that they weren't even headlining.

After playing a number of grassroots venues across the southwest and building a small following, the band set up their own unofficial stage in conjuction with "Gig Realm" and one of their local venue partners, at "Bristol Harbourfest", having not been classed as popular enough for the main festival. The band attracted such a large crowd, that the gig was eventually shut down by the police for crowd control, however videos of the set went viral on TikTok. Spitfire Tides were subsequently booked for a number of other festivals including "Lakefest 23" and a number of Teen festivals showing their diversity for fans of every age.
